Black Hill Books was launched in 1972. Our mission  then and now is to provide our customers with high quality second hand books.

Over the years the business has continued to grow alongside, I am pleased to say, my successful career in writing.

We currently hold a stock of around 3,000 books. The majority of these are crime fiction and mystery titles both vintage and modern. We also have an enviable stock of Westerns dated circa 1931 – 1970.

We produce free monthly catalogues for our mailing list clients, both hardback and paperback. As new stock arrives it is listed in our catalogues and after our “sale day” any remaining stock is added to our inventory.
