Many old friends and acquaintances greeted me on Saturday March 28th at the World Horror Convention in Brighton. The years rolled back as names and faces emerged from the past, too many to list individually, but it was great to see you all.
The GNS sales and signing table was kept busy from 1.00 – 2.00pm, the time allotted for this. On the stand with me was Brooke Vaughn, (aka Sara Brunsdon) launching her first novel which was published this week.
I have no hesitation in recommending this author to my own fans. Back In the 1970's she would have been a very big name in the genre, sadly, category fiction is no longer in vogue due to publishing decisions rather than readership.
Nevertheless pulp fiction is making a welcome comeback via smaller press publishers and I forecast that Brooke Vaughn will play a part in its resurgence.
