The 2015 Convention was one of the best ever, a truly memorable occasion with a much larger attendance that we have had for some years. Fortunately the weather was dry even if it was slightly cool so we were able to sit out on the patio.
This is the one time in the year when I have an opportunity to renew old acquaintances and meet up with new fans.
We launched my latest book “Crabs Omnibus”, a volume of short stories featuring the giant crustaceans, which included both new and previously published material. This is one for the completist collector, a compliment to the seven novels over the last 40 years.
My thanks to my wife Jean, Annie my assistant and Phil Ellett who manages my website and creates my e-books. They were stalwarts on a very busy day. Phil has run the GNS website since its beginning and has done an excellent job with the new version which was launched earlier this year. If you have not visited yet then take a look.
Next year will be the 25th anniversary of the GNS Fan Club Convention so it will be something rather special. We are reverting to the original date of the first Sunday in September so it will be held on September 4th 2016. Make a note in your diary so that you don’t miss it.
Thank you to everyone who attended this year and to all of my fans for their support throughout the year. I really do appreciate it.
